musicartists-fun.com is written for anyone who grew up obsessed with Japanese rock and J-pop and still wonders what happened to the artists they used to love — alongside newer names that are just starting to break out.
Rather than chasing the biggest, most obvious names, I focus on two kinds of artists: the bands you were into back then who've since faded from the spotlight, and the ones blowing up right now on TikTok or YouTube before the bigger outlets have caught on.
True to the name "Music Artists Fun," the goal is simple — write about music artists because it's genuinely fun, for people who read for the same reason.

Music background: Grew up in the CD-shop-and-MD-Walkman era during junior high and high school, sinking most of my allowance into one or two albums a month.
Favorite genres: Late-90s to 2000s J-rock, visual kei, girl-fronted rock bands, and newer artists breaking out through TikTok.
Writing approach: I check facts against web sources and Wikipedia before writing, but the opinions and reactions are mine, based on genuinely listening to the music.
What I cover and why
"Where are they now" for artists on hiatus or disbanded: mostly acts who had real popularity at the time but rarely get covered by major outlets anymore.
Rising and viral artists: names blowing up on TikTok or YouTube that don't have much in-depth English coverage yet.
Facts kept separate from opinion: for heavier topics — departures, health issues, and similar — I stick to a factual, respectful tone.
Sourcing: ages, discography details, and career facts are written with their sources noted.
